What happens to a page you submit, how long anything is kept, and what is never done with it.
Only public pages, and nothing installed
A review reaches your page over the public internet, exactly as any visitor would. There is no snippet to add, no script to install, and no access to grant. Addresses that resolve to private or internal networks are refused rather than fetched.
Your page content is never used to train models
The URLs you submit, the captured screenshots, and the findings produced from them are not used as training data, by us or by anyone else. They exist to produce your report and to show it back to you.
How long anything is kept
A share link works for 90 days from the review. The screenshot is deleted 90 days after the review, while the written report remains. Reports from anonymous reviews are removed after 90 days; reports saved to an account are kept for 12 months. Text extracted from the page during the review is discarded once the report is written.
Report links are unlisted, not public
A report lives at an address that cannot be guessed and is never listed anywhere. Search engines are told not to index report pages, and the sitemap does not contain them. Anyone you send the link to can open it, so treat it as you would any unlisted link.
What a failed review costs you
Nothing. If a review does not finish — the page was unreachable, too slow, too large, or the service itself failed — no allowance is deducted and you can retry immediately.
Deleting your data
You can request access, export, or deletion at any time by emailing hello@pageadvice.app. Deleting an account removes its saved reports and cannot be undone.
